Letra Hispánica

Students’ Accommodation

Letra Hispánica offers various modalities of accommodation for the students, so they can fully enjoy they stay in Salamanca

Accommodation with Spanish host families

Carefully selected, the host families represent a wide spectrum of Spanish society, but they all have in common their hospitality, their ability to communicate with young people from other cultures and their willingness to make the students’ life in Salamanca easier and more enjoyable.

The accommodation with host families can be in a single, double or triple room, in regime of full-board (three meals a day) or half-board (breakfast plus lunch or dinner). Rooms cannot be shared provided the students belong to the same group, the same family or count with a worthy authorization (for students underage).

Host families provide students with a healthy Mediterranean diet, high in fruits, vegetables, bread and other cereals, potatoes, beans, nuts and seeds, olive oil, dairy products, fish and poultry. Red meat consumed in low to moderate amounts.

Host families also can cater to special health, accommodation and dietary needs or preferences. After registration, we provide students with a secure form telling us about these needs and preferences.

The students may contact the host families prior to their arrival in Salamanca. Also, they can ask for a change of family without giving any reason if they feel it necessary.
