Direct bus from the Madrid-Barajas Airport: With daily trips every two hour, this is the easiest and fastest way to get to Salamanca from the airport. Ticket cost around €25 each way and can be booked online through the company’s website. This is reserved by the student. (www.avanzabus.com)
Bus from the South Bus Station of Madrid: This service offers many more possibilities for trips and scheduling, but you must travel to the South / Méndez Álvaro station in Madrid from the airport. Train from Chamartín: If the student wishes or finds it convenient, Salamanca can also be reached by train. The price of the ticket (per trip) varies depending on the time it is purchased, but usually ranges from €15 – €20. Train tickets can be purchased through the company’s website.
