This 60-hour course aims to set the foundations for the essential knowledge on the Spanish Legal System and specific language to this field. Students will review the features of legal Spanish as a specialized language, both from a macro and micro perspective, by summarizing and analyzing the sources that shape the actual Legal Spanish. We will also attend to the importance and particularities of the technical vocabulary and the problems that can arise from a legal translation.
